The Art Show Prior to the Unveiling of the Cesar E. Chavez Statue

The week prior to the unveiling there were all kinds of activities meant to engage the community.  A play was performed, poetry was read and dances were performed. but most visual was the art show on the downtown mall. It was a week that not many Riversiders will soon forget because it culminated a collective effort to bring a statue of Cesar Chavez to downtown Riverside.
